On December 19, 2016, MuBANY sponsored an event, entitled Assisting Victims of Hate Crimes and Bias and Representing Peaceful Protestors.

The program was for pro bono attorneys seeking to assist victims of hate crimes or bias and to represent people arrested while peacefully protesting. Experienced attorneys and New York officials explained the process and what we need to know to do this kind of pro bono work.

Please see below: a flyer for the event, images from the event, and a Pro Bono Toolkit with links to relevant training materials.
