MuBANY Stands With the Asian American Community.

Stop Asian HateMuBANY stands with the Asian American community. Since the start of the pandemic, the Asian American community, specifically Asian American women, has seen an increase in hate crimes and violence with nearly 3800 hate incidents reported in the past year. Yesterday in Atlanta, a string of shootings occurred at massage parlors, leaving 8 dead - 6 of whom were Asian American women. We mourn the loss of these innocent lives and demand that we put a stop to racially motivated violence.

At this time, we ask the MuBANY community to commit to allyship and speak out when you witness instances of racism. We want members of the Asian American community both within and outside our community to know that you are welcome, supported, and most importantly — that you belong here. MuBANY is committed to inclusion and safety for all communities.

Please see https://www.linktr.ee/mubany for resources to help Asian Americans and allies, and to educate yourself on the issue of racism.
